has anyone seen bono's collaborative art/poetry with helena christiansan? if he had a sense of shame, it would be crippling, but...
when i was like 11, i made all the neighborhood kids go see this in the theatre with me. u2 was waning a bit... joshua tree was becoming old news, and everyone probably would have preferred to stay home and play whiffle ball, but i somehow succeeded in getting all my elementary school playmates to go out and check it out with me. i was the only one who felt yay or day about it.
years later, that's a pretty decaf version of one of the only beatles songs with any cajones to it to begin with.
nice segway, funkles...
