after a little cyber-sleuthing, it appears that the paintings are by the uploader...

apparently he/she is a monist, and has a philosophical sorta mentality about the work... pretty cool stuff...
I'm pretty sure that if it's the same Raymond Scott as titled, he's a sound inventor and composer. He made sound experiments and loops that have influenced electronic music throughout the last few decades.
The audio in this clip sounds like a contemporary remake - it's good though. The art is good too.
Reminds me of the 6 year period of Miro's work that I really like. Just a technical note... the images that are dark purple, almost black background and have terquoise, light blue and greenish imagery - well that's the good old "invert" function on photoshop.
oops.
Hey Dan, I almost resol
... resolved my issues with the square panel.
oh, i should have qualified... i'm familiar with raymond scott (c/o the soothing sounds for baby series sloss the bo$$ turned us on to in college)... i was wondering if the images were his as well, or where they came from (which was the uploader). there's something sorta pre-colombian about them, i guess... so i wasn't initially sure how contemporary they were.
good lookin out though, man...
glad to hear the square panel is working out! i think i'm about to move into something more typically landscapey and horizontal sometime soon, myself. vertical compositions are always the ones that give me the mosgt trouble, honestly...
Hey Dan---how is it going----
the paintings ----look like aboriginal paintings to me--
hi jack... all is well with me... yeah, that stuff definitely has a flavor of something non-you-tube-ish...
