Sometimes Henry Rollins in his elder years is really, really bad. Sometimes he's good though.

i think that show henry rollins has is pretty good actually. probably the best thing he's ever done, even (i could never get into black flag... more proof that deep down insaide i am not, nor ever was, a punk).
wish i could say the same of woody allen, who i think is pretty much cooked at this point. i'd honestly rather see transformers again (DON'T LOOK SO SHOCKED) than watch anything post deconstructing harry truth be told. he does still make 'em his way though, that's fair enough...
i loved celebrity (even the insufferable winona ryder couldnt ruin it) and i absolutely loved match point. it was a note perfect genre film, ace hitchhock homage.
i thought match point was great. one of the best movies i've seen in the theater in recent memory. black flag is one of the most overrated punk bands of all time. they just had a good logo. except for a few moments, moslty pre-rollins, white minority, the intro to six pack, etc. they weren't even as good as the meatmen.
hustles-- someday when we're in full-on philosophical inquiry mode, i might have to call this love of match point into question... it's that rare movie that i hate more in theory than in practice (i still hate it in practice though).
black flag did have a good logo though. and henry is rockin the grey hair well enough, which is inspiring to me as i grow to resemble phil donahue more and more each day...
