black flag Depression

back to a previous subject: is there good black flag? i would have to give a resounding yes. when i was 11 i had a mix tape with minor threat on one side and black flag the first five years on the other. i could have wrote depression, it is my song. also noteworthy is that greg ginn's favorite band was the grateful dead. slightly related note last night chris and i were watching the phillies lose at our friend max's house. someone put a zz top record on, but chris thought we needed a more phillies timezone friendly tune something defiantly east coast so we blasted the first agnostic front record till the end of the game. it didnt work but it made chris and i take back some of our smack talk about hardcore.

like i said, pre-rollins. i always liked them with chavo pederast. they still sound like punk here, too, not slow dirgy boringness with too many guitar solos. rollins black flag isn't really bad, per se, but just sort of uneventful and definitely overrated.

I had my share of Black Flag in my adolescence, but definetely a high dosage of Minor Threat.
