does this open on friday? i'm gonna be down that way anyway (to see manufactured landscapes at i-house if anyone wants to come), and i had hoped to pop in, if there's an opening... i can't seem to find much info about that, other than the "melody" thing next month. am i not seeing something?

I thought the Citypaper interview was good.
I can see how it could even be inspiring to other artists. Then there's the work.... I'll have to see it in person. So far so good though. Nice to see the balance of fully packed pieces and more spare ones.

I was there the night before I began house painting for my mom and unstretching old (ridiculously large) paintings from the Tyler years. Seeing them was like watching the oldest episodes of the Simpsons.
thanks to all who came out i had a blast. i went with a winter miami vice look for the opening: lavender long sleeve 100% italian wool shirt, green corduroy pants and brown leather slip on shoes with tan stitching. oh and i also met len amoroso the owner of amoroso's the people that make the kaiser and long rolls i have used to make sandwiches almost everyday my whole life. he came up to me at the dinner and said, " len amoroso, loved the show, i love your work." i said, "thank you mr. amoroso." he responded with, "call me len."
