i just saw two lovers last night, which is supposed to be joaquin phoenix's last role before his new rap career (unless the whole deal is a hoax, as it appears to be here). anyway, you guys should all check it out. it's probably the best movie i've seen in several months, and you'd never guess it from the ads/hype/movie box cover art. definitely in the same spirit as all those smart sleeper films from the 70's (think robert altman, bob rafelson, elaine may, etc.)...
