so... apparently the remaining, non-messiah-who-died-surfing members of ya ho wa 13 are playing johnny brendas in a few weeks... does anyone know if this would be worth going to?

I think so. I saw Djin Aquarian play in West Philly a few months ago and he was pretty awesome. Several of my friends say the family play in NYC a while back and enjoyed it. Typical highs and lows attached to this sort of thing, but it should be well worth the time and money. Have you checked out the book on the Source? It's awesome.
thanks chris... i figured you'd have the low down. i've seen the book in stores, but haven't done more than flip through it. it's surprisingly in-depth though. one of the remaining members was interviewed on NPR not too long ago... i was SHOCKED when the interview began. interesting to see that broad an interest in them.
