i know a lot of people aren't as sympathetic to maher as i can be (he's sorta "my kind of asshole," i guess), but i think he really nails it with this one...
p.s. what's up with all the annoying commentary bubbles that keep popping up inside youtube videos lately?

Hey - I've been reading rumors (the NY local papers) that Biden is going to drop out of VP spot because of "health reasons" and HIllary is going to take his spot.
Have you guys heard any of this.

you can watch bill maher's show on youtube in full. it's usually broken up into 5 or 6 segments though. i watch it weekly, actually.
as for biden, i doubt it. i think at this point, obama is winning points by looking less reckless than mc cain, so his caution has turned into an asset. plus, palin is imploding so quickly that it's rather tough to imagine her convincing a large enough number of hillary supporters to matter much at this point. and biden has been pretty decent as an attack dog thus far, i think. i mean, i still kinda hate him, because he nearly authored the "war on drugs" and is a complete toadie for the credit card industry, but i don't think he's proven to be a particularly bad choice. i think the republicans would have whipped up some dog-and-pony show regardless of who the VP choice was.
