...you can't sink the titanic...
the willow house was a fucked up little house we used to call home while we were at tyler school of art together. the house was condemned by the city. now we're all scattered all over the place, far from willow ave. i thought this might be a good way for us to keep in touch and share music and whatever projects we're working on. maybe also give each other a kick in the pants to make art or whatever.

my love for tony is about as well documented and understood as any fact in this world. it is a love that keeps growing and, here at 33, i get to witness the romancing the stone summer of his with the pleasure of seeing him recreate eddie grant tossing a machete into the air, it turning into a guitar and a solo as a result of this real fantasy. come '09 it's a solo at the ICA. what a right-on strut. and i didn't even mention dr. hook.
ebert should have said to siskel "while i did enjoy the movie, the other night on friday night videos on mtv i caught the new eddy grant video also called 'romancing the stone' i found it even better than the movie. eddy grant shines particularly in the scene where he throws a machete in the air and then as it transforms into a guitar he catches it flawlessly and then lays down a killer reggae guitar solo. i can see big roles in the future for this eddy character."
