i mentioned this already on my personal blog, but jon stewart interviewed bolivian president evo morales the other night on the daily show. i thought it was pretty interesting. i like morales a lot from what i've read about him.

That's amazing. Thanks for posting this. I actually turned the tv off when I heard that he was going to be the guest. I'm sick this week, been sleeping alot, and I just thought "well, if he's NOT a member of the axis of evil, why do I need to see this guy?" but now I say Evo Morales should be the President of the World. And it show's John Stewart at his best when he can take a guest that isn't "in on it" so to speak and make a great interview with him. Thanks.
yeah, i'm certainly no expert on the guy-- and it's tough to get a sense of neutrality or fairness from any american media source when it comes to leftist leaders (particularly in latin america)-- but he really seems refreshingly admirable, from what i can tell.
and yeah, it's nice to be reminded that jon stewart is capable of toning down the sarcasm from time to time when his guests are actually interesting...
