i saw this the other day. it was pretty good. frank stella was suprisingly a highlight. it is played light but you get some great open moments from the talking heads that way.

...you can't sink the titanic...
the willow house was a fucked up little house we used to call home while we were at tyler school of art together. the house was condemned by the city. now we're all scattered all over the place, far from willow ave. i thought this might be a good way for us to keep in touch and share music and whatever projects we're working on. maybe also give each other a kick in the pants to make art or whatever.

That looks like fun. Was it on PBS or is it on DVD?
i saw it on the sundance channel. i think it is recently to video. the interviews with rosenquist, poons and stella are all within the past two years or so and are really great. david hockney just seems amused about the whole thing and doesnt really give up any insights.
i should see that. i loved the painters on painting video with rauschenberg drunk as hell giving his interview from the top of the ladder and frank stella squatting on the floor like a deranged squawking bird-man.
